Our CEO Dr. Victoria R Nalule, MCIArb was invited as an independent expert to contribute to the work of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights. Sharing a panel with distinguished Professors, she addressed key issues concerning Climate Change, Human Rights and Extractives. She used this opportunity to ask the African Union to consider embracing ‘Energy Progression’. She also spotlighted the need to analyse the current extractive agreement specifically the presence of stabilisation Clauses. She elaborated on the need for a new ‘Generation of Extractive Laws and Contracts’ that would ensure African countries benefit from critical minerals. Dr. Victoria R Nalule MCIArb also encouraged them to get all her books!
